About MotorSums

MotorSums is a set of free calculators for people in the UK dealing with the costs and rules of driving and travelling: fines and points, MOT dates, vehicle and company car tax, towing, flight delays and passports.

Who runs it

[Owner name, UK location and a short note on who you are go here before launch.]

Who writes and checks the tools

[Named motoring editor and, for the fines and points tools, a motoring solicitor. Add their names, credentials and links to their profiles. Until then the tools say that author details are being added.]

How the site is funded

The plan is to fund the site with display advertising. Adverts will be clearly separate from the calculators and never placed between a calculator and its result. If we ever link to a product or service and get paid for it, we’ll say so next to the link.

Independence

MotorSums is not part of, and not endorsed by, DVLA, DVSA, the Sentencing Council, HM Courts and Tribunals Service, the FCA, the Civil Aviation Authority, HM Passport Office or any other government body.
