How pages are written

Each page answers one question for UK drivers or travellers. We start from the official rule, build the calculation, test it against the source’s own examples where there are any, and then write the explanation around it. Every figure links to a primary source.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to help draft code and copy. A person checks every figure against its source before a page is published, and the page names who did that.

Corrections

If you spot a mistake, tell us with the page and the inputs you used. We aim to fix confirmed errors within two working days and record them below.
